Lauren McLane


Lauren McLane joined the University of Wyoming College of Law as an assistant professor and faculty director of the Defender Aid Clinic (a trial and appellate criminal defense clinic at the law school) in July 2018; she also joined the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center as a board member at that time. In 2009, her career as a public defender began in Seattle, Washington, at The Defender Association. In 2017, Lauren McLane joined the Innocence Project Northwest as a DNA staff attorney. She teaches forensic science to lawyers and students, and she has been published in this area, including contributions to an article in the Journal of Forensic Sciences in 2014 and a book chapter in 2015-2016.
