Kristine Bunch spent more than 17 years behind bars in Indiana after being wrongfully convicted of setting a fire that claimed the life of her three-year-old son in 1995. Kristine’s many accomplishments in prison included earning a bachelor’s degree, training service animals, and providing paralegal assistance to other incarcerated people. She is the executive director of JustIS 4 JustUS, an exoneree support organization she co-founded with fellow exoneree Juan Rivera. Kristine speaks throughout the country about criminal justice issues.
